But that's what happens when you're hard at work. We're finishing some new tours, and thinking about a site redesign. Any thoughts? Post them here.
In the meantime, it's summer in D.C., and that means tourist high season. We've noticed that tourists seem to be back in force. So much for an economic downturn! There are so many great things to do in D.C. in August. If you're here in early August, you can catch the last film in the Screen on the Green series, Bonnie and Clyde. From August 16-22, D.C.'s Annual Restaurant Week will let you take advantage of some great discounts and the best restaurants D.C. has to offer. Right after that, you can hop across the river to Alexandria for its Restaurant Week, from August 20-29.
August also means county fair season. You can check out Montgomery County, Arlington and Prince George's County Fairs.
A new event this year is the Arts on N Street festival August 7-8 and 14-15th.
Before you know it, it's going to be Labor Day.
